Photographing nature has been a passion for Mark Conley since his youth. Growing up in California near the Sierra Nevada Mountains gave young Mark many opportunities to explore the wilderness and observe wildlife.
Mark is a self-taught photographer. He especially enjoys under-water photography and his 4x5 field camera for landscapes. His fine art photography combines the love for telling a story along with infusing drama into the scene.
He currently lives in Skagit Valley, WA, where he has access to spectacular natural settings for his photography. He co-owns LaConner Seaside Gallery along with a couple of other artist friends.
