my painting style
Sharon's paintings and award-winning canvases are representative of the world she sees around her. She says, "I would see something and just have to paint it." Never without a sketchpad and a camera, the artist records visuals and then interprets then in her own unique perspective and captures it on canvas.
Sharon's art work spans across landscapes, figurative series, still-life and contemporary. On her approach to the different styles, she says, "My figurative work is completed in the studio, and has a more contemporary style and feel than my landscape painting. I like being able to go back and forth between the two."
